In March of 2020, the Village of Westmont became the first official Dementia Friendly Community in DuPage County. Westmont has taken specific steps to train staff and provide resources so that we can better serve and accommodate people with dementia and their care partners. To assist residents, Dementia Friendly Westmont has developed Dementia-Friendly-Westmont-Resource-Guide that features contact information for local resources.
