Westmont Fire Department
The Westmont Fire Department encourages residents to keep abreast of important home safety information. Be sure that everyone in your family is educated and prepared to respond appropriately in the event of a home emergency. The Westmont Fire Department Citizens Fire Academy is a program designed to help citizens better understand the Department’s firefighting and rescue operations and the multitude of services it provides to the community. It also includes CPR/First Aid Training. The Public Education Division is responsible for providing the public with information and resources to prevent not only fires, but also to reduce or prevent injuries and death from causes unrelated to fire. The Westmont Fire Department is committed to the safety and education of both children and adults within the community.

The Westmont Public Library welcomes seniors to experience a wide range of materials for checkout and online use; free computer and internet access; a variety of events and programs; and friendly, patient, and helpful staff. We have large print books, special computer equipment for vision–impaired users, short stories, and audiobooks.
